“Silent Spiritual Family Constellations”
Facilitators Training with Charaka
The Facilitators Training is a deep and powerful healing journey, offering not only the needed training and support to pursue Constellations work, but also a healing space that supports students to become in tune with their own family system, enabling them to hold space for others in this healing modality.
The Returning
The first five modules are called The Returning. As we return to our original nature, with the stillness and presence we can experience from this place, we see how many things become possible. As a natural consequence of this, whatever we do is enhanced, flowing and coming from love, not fear. Then what we share in life takes on a different quality, not of the mind, and expectations, but instead it includes a freshness, openness and presence. Bert Hellinger called this ”Working with the Spirit Mind”.
The first year of the training has been very carefully planned starting the journey with birth, moving through parental issues, health, relationships, to meeting death in a new light and finding your own inner song and working life. It allows each participant to make their own journey of healing while training.
Who is it for?
This facilitators training is designed for people who wish to explore a career in Family Constellations. It can also be for anybody who wishes to do their own personal healing journey in ancestral healing.
It would also be helpful to professionals, coaches, teachers and counsellors who wish to incorporate Family Constellations into their current practice.
Students who have already completed some training with Charaka may wish to join the modules in 2026 are changed, different modules with the inclusion of other topics. They may also wish to repeat some of the early modules to observe the work and inform their own practice and personal healing.
What will it include?
It will include silent constellations, working with art in constellations, story, dreamwork, inner parts of the individual psyche, rituals, meditation, practice for facilitators, guidelines for the facilitator, film sessions, nature sessions, song, question and answer sessions, the family tree sessions, campfire and sharing food. It will be a deep healing process with clear steps that will support a journey into this work.
Dates for Training
Each module offers three or four days which often, but not always, have an evening session. Each module begins with an evening session, there will also be morning meditation sessions. One module is on line.
Year One modules for 2026
The Tap Root - Module One - Mother & Module Two - Father
These modules introduces the foundational principles of Constellations according to Bert Hellinger, focusing on the movements of the spirit mind and spiritual Constellations. It explores the essential orders of love and the ramifications of deviating from these principles including:
Equal rights to belong in a family/group.
Hierarchical Structures within the family/group.
Balance of giving and receiving.
In this module of the training, we look at the early beginnings of our life with our parents and any early separations from parents which can cause an interrupted movement that has far reaching effects for our life.
We focus on situations in the family of origin that come in the way of the flow of love between parent and child. We explore where you are now in your life and if you have a strong ‘taproot’. By this I mean connection to the land of your birth, your mother, father and family of origin.
Constellations are all about love and the flow of love. They offer a way we can open to the possibility for the flow of love to be resorted to our parents, our family and our taproot. Working with breath, ancestral ritual and meditations we support our connection to nature and source energy. Level one and two are about the foundations of your life and is fundamental to any training in this work.
Module Three - Health and Connection to the Body
Module Four - Relationships
In this module we tap into the hidden realms of our love relationships. We are connected to deeper dynamics and unseen forces, including non-present family members in past generations and the choices that were made long ago.
These forces can affect relationships with current partners and connections with each other on many different levels.
In this module we address:
The dynamics of couple’s relationships, including the balance of giving and receiving and the flow of love.
Conflict between male and female.
Complexities of child/child parent relationships, adoption, victim/predator dynamic, the effects of former partners within this.
Bonding, separations and divorce.
Past relationships, early relationships, how interrupted movement effects partnerships, what you hold from your family system.
We use Constellations, meditation, story, your own inner connection to yourself and nature to support this module.
Module 5 - Family Tree
Module Six - Your Own Song
Module Seven - The Knowing
Story/ Dreamwork/ The Inner Realms of the Individual/ Soul and Spirit
Here we work looking into deeper parts of the individual psyche and subconscious realm. Working with the inner elements, power, safety, helplessness, weakness – to mention a few. These inner parts can sometimes oppose each other which can lead to inner struggles preventing the energy moving forward in certain areas of our lives. We also take a look into the soul and spirit realms.
Using story and dreamwork we will be working with inner dimensions. This can often bring a different view and insight leading to inclusion of parts of ourselves that need to be included and seen. The focus is very much on how these effect our everyday lives. In this module we look at our sixth sense and how important it is, doing exercises to open and trust this inner knowing.
Module Eight - The Facilitator
This will be a seven-day module in 2026.
In this seven day module, we take a very deep dive into the work of Constellations from the facilitating perspective. Now we change venue, hopefully have some sunshine, and with the sea this will help participants to be able to drop into a silent place where they can hold this space for others in the knowing field. This module is very much a step up and will not offer time for personal work in the same way as in all the other modules. This section includes practice sessions with feedback from Charaka and your peers. Alongside this will be film excerpts of Hellinger working, bringing greater understanding to the intricate depth of this work. This is a deep dive where I will share the transmission I received from Bert Hellinger and other Teachers. We will be offering some participants from Menorca a chance for Constellations work, which will be facilitated by the students.
The module includes:
Steps for setting up Constellations. The attitude of the facilitator. Guidelines for the facilitator.
Sentences that heal. Movements of the soul. Practice sessions.
Film sessions of Bert Hellinger. Questions and answers.
The art of meditation, presence.
Students are now encouraged to set up in-person practice days together after this module.

Testimonials
I would recommend this to anyone looking for change, anyone who feels stuck. This is a very beautiful way to shed what doesn't serve us and gain so much understanding alongside receiving a valuable training. Charaka is a fantastic facilitator and I felt deeply held. She is the best that I have come across and I have worked with many both in California and the UK. I highly recommend these trainings for anybody who is open to enriching their life."
Even though it was not my intention to become a professional in Family Constellations, I did find myself holding Family Constellations groups. The training was a life changing experience, I left my old job which I was long dissatisfied with, moved to Spain, have a great new relationship, and continue to train in other healing modalities. I recommend this to anyone who would like to explore themselves through a memorable journey to the inner self and the family’s unseen influences on our lives."
Anyway, I decided to trust my gut feeling or intuition and was lucky enough to experience my first Family Constellations workshop with Charaka Satyam. This was the beginning of a profound journey. Charaka facilitates a very safe space through her total integrity and respect for the work that was originated by Bert Hellinger.
Her intuitive way of working can make you feel as if she can see right into your soul. Charaka’s commitment to her own spiritual practice enables a state of presence and power that brings clarity and order to confusing and seemingly chaotic family entanglements.
I was lucky enough to be able to attend two incredible years training with Charaka and feel so very grateful for the insights and deep shifts in my psyche and soul during this time. The training was many faceted and gave us the opportunity to explore artistic practices and meditation as well as time spent together in nature and connecting with each other. And of course ‘The Work’. The more I learnt about this incredible way of seeing the ‘Order of Love’ the more I felt able to step out of the judgement and blame of the mind and feel immersed in the mysterious web of life. Charaka has many years experience facilitating groups of Family Constellations. I can only encourage anyone who is curious to work with Charaka and begin the exciting adventure of self-transformation."

Applying to do the Training
You are requested to write to Charaka, giving her your reasons for wishing to join. Please also add any experience you have had with this work. We ask for around 500 words as a suggestion in your application, no more than one thousand. Please note you must have worked with Charaka previously in order to apply for the training or intend to come to a session before the start date in April. Ideally, we like people to have done a few groups before joining, but each case is looked at individually.
How the training continues once all seven modules are complete
Students can choose to join monthly one-on-one sessions specifically for trainees in the form of supervisions. These can be booked for a small fee each month if required.
Apprenticeship Path
Students each by personal arrangement with Charaka will be able to join the workshops and new trainings and receive feedback sessions around the work carried out. You will have an opportunity to fine-tune your skills and practice facilitating Constellations. Once all the requirements for the training have been completed, you will receive a certificate of completion.
Venue: School of Art and Wellbeing
The School of Art and Wellbeing is in a little corner of exquisite Devon countryside with a view all the way to Dartmoor and only a mile from the market town of Honiton with direct train lines to London Waterloo.
It is set in 15 acres of wildflower meadows, formal gardens, orchard, vegetable plots and a secret forest garden. The beach is a short drive away.
It offers a range of different options of accommodation on site- from camping to glamping in a shepherd’s hut or the summer house, to staying in rooms in the main house. For our needs and to help budgets, Mary Ann has agreed to make a small dormitory in the main house. She offers a lovely continental breakfast which is offered at £5 a day, and everyone is asked join this. It has been agreed we will have lunch and dinner as food to share, reducing the overall costs considerably. This will be the third facilitators’ training held at The School of Art and Wellbeing.
How Charaka Works
Charaka trained with the originator of this work Bert Hellinger. His work was started as a more psychotherapeutic method. His later work moved to a more spiritual approach. Charaka’s current practice in Constellations is more in line with Bert Hellinger’s later work. Her work is called “Silent Spiritual Family Constellations”.
"I see Family Constellations as about love. It can provide so many deep understandings about life and the hidden realms in the roots of our family. What I appreciate most is the positive impact it has on the lives of people. I really enjoy that many people meet and make friendships at the workshops and trainings, connecting others is something that brings me great joy and I consciously seek to do this. I believe that playfulness and fun are a very important aspect of life, and I try to bring this into the residential workshops where possible."
