About Charaka

I have been very blessed to find my path and passion early in life and have been working in service to others for over three decades. I have always felt very lucky to do work that I deeply love, while witnessing how people’s lives are enriched.

My Journey

Healing work came into my life when I was young, around 19 years old, while I was working as a body worker/massage therapist in a spa. I found that I could feel, read and understand things in the person I was working with.

I understand now I was an intuitive psychic and always had been. Many direct teachings have come to me this way, supporting my work and creative life.

My healing work progressed and I began training and working in Reiki healing, with an apprenticeship to Reiki Master. I also decided to train in Colour Puncture after receiving a session and having felt it’s profound effects. I became a teacher of Colour Puncture under the guidance of Sarita Newman, and in 2005 I travelled to Australia to work with the founder of Colour Puncture, Peter Mandel. For a number of years, I was teaching and training others in colour puncture.

Family Constellations came into my life over 20 years ago. I was drawn to this immediately with an inner knowing, it felt like I had found a missing key I was looking for in my work to date. I had found a direct door into the ancestral world, it was effective in the most beautiful way. I have had the incredible opportunity train with Bert and Sophie Hellinger and many other gifted teachers. Constellations remains a deep journey for me and still fascinates, teaches and humbles me.

For many years, I spent time travelling to India, meditating with teachers, participating in breath work trainings, yoga, laughter meditations, play meditations and embracing life to the full. All the years of dedication to the expansion of my own consciousness naturally informs my work.

I have had the good fortune to be the mother of two beautiful children, whom I home educated in South Wales, to provide a natural environment for their education and allow self-directed learning. I now support my grandchildren’s education as much as possible in similar way.

My other loves are being in my garden and my art studio. I achieved a first-class honours degree in 2008 in Art and Ceramics. Some photos of my installation artwork are weaved through the website as they are about Family Constellations and journeys made by me.

Gratitude

More and more with each passing day, I grow increasingly grateful to my parents for this incredible life.

Also, in deep gratitude to Bert Hellinger and all the teachers who have been part of my life journey.

My heart’s wish is that my children and grandchildren will benefit from two grandparents that have done and continue to do what they can to clear, honour and include with love the excluded members in our family systems, for ourselves and the generations to come.

I often ask this question when working – “what ancestor do you want to be?”
